A Health and Sanitation Campaign trough drama was organized at Gisagara market

January 21st 2026, In collaboration with the District and World Vision Rwanda, an awareness campaign titled “End Child Malnutrition Now” was conducted at Gisagara Market in Ndora Sector through a drama performance by Itorero Urunana.

The campaign aimed to combat malnutrition and stunting among children under five years of age. The key messages focused on promoting good hygiene and ensuring special care for children, particularly during the first 1,000 days of life.

The Vice Mayor in charge of Social Affairs Denise Dusabe urged participants to adopt a culture of hygiene in all settings and to give proper care to children from pregnancy, at birth, by enrolling them in nearby Early Childhood Development (ECD) centers on time, and later in school once they reach the appropriate age.
